Cityscapes
Since coming to New York, I have always been taken by the city’s skyline. In recent years, with the explosion of statement architecture in the Middle East and other parts of the world, some arguments have been made that New York has lost that unique place in the world. I would argue that the combination of designs from The Machine Age, the preservation of unique bridges, the confluence of rivers, and even the construction of newer structures leave the New York skyline firmly above and apart from all other contenders. This selection of photographs has been done recently and includes vantage points that reflect the majesty that is New York, as I see it.
